Time To Shine
By Zoe Tant
Bright florals is a gift theme to most of us,
not least me! I created a bold background
using Gorgeous Grape re-inker by adding
random dots of ink to glossy card or
photo paper, spritzing with water and
letting the ink just move. I repeated the
process with Melon Mambo, allowing
some overlap of inks. I dried it with a
paper towel and a heat gun to keep the
random patterns. Once completely dry, I
white embossed flowers and added the
stamped flowers outside the frame. I then
adhered the background and frame to my
card base. To create the ‘wonky’ frame,
I offset one die inside another. I added a
watercoloured flower and punched leaves
for a focal point. Note the vellum leaves
are stamped using VersaMark and Granny
Apple Green ink together before adding
clear embossing powder. I finished with
a simple embossed sentiment and ink
splatter, using a marker flicked in its lid.

This month we go to the tropics with the five bright,
juicy colours in the pages of Ready, Set, Stamp!
