I had to make a little bird house for these lovely 3D birds, and a little
welcoming home plaque seemed the perfect idea for a mixed media make
for the moulds. I was excited to be getting my melt pot out again too. I love
a good 3D project! I melted the Ultra Thick Embossing Powders and poured
it into my moulds. I’d forgotten how tricky this was and re-melting mistakes
is so very satisfying! When I was happy with my moulded birds and heart, I
rubbed over the Treasure Gold and they looked lovely. I added them to my
cardboard birdhouse, to which I had applied some paint on the background
and some scraps of inked up card. I put a rusty wire hanger on it and there
we go. A nice quick little make gives you instant satisfaction! Materials
