When Beyoncé dropped her lat-
est album The Lion King: The
Gift on July 19, fans freaked out
over a surprise collaborator: her
daughter Blue Ivy. “Brown skin
girl, your skin just like pearls/
The best thing in the world,
never trade you for anybody
else,” sings the 7-year-old on
“Brown Skin Girl,” the 15th
track on the compilation album
Beyoncé released in conjunc-
tion with the remake of Disney’s
1994 classic film. While
Beyoncé—who voices Nala in
the reboot—and her rapper hus-
band, Jay-Z, are fiercely private
and protective of their kids,
the stars are now fully behind
their firstborn finding her own
spotlight. “Blue loves singing,
dancing and performing,” says
a source. “She’s a natural!”
