Haley has a nightmare of Claire tossing

a match on her bed, so Tripp rushes to com-

fort her. “Tripp feels very protective and

responsible for Haley,” says Lucas Adams.

“He has feelings for her, but he knows

they’re wrong. He can’t do that to JJ.”

Later, Haley has a hallucination of

Claire, which she shares with Tripp, who

thinks she’s showing signs of PTSD. “He

tells her she’s been through this traumatic

experience and needs to see someone,”

notes Adams. In light of her suicide

attempt in December, however, Haley

refuses to talk to anyone at the hospital,

so Tripp decides to ask Dr. Shah for

tranquilizers and lie that they’re for him.

Back at the loft, Haley has another hal-

lucination, but decides not to tell JJ. Tripp

gives Haley a tranquilizer and she falls

asleep in his arms. “Tripp thinks he has his

feelings under control,” observes Adams.

“He doesn’t even fully believe they’re

real. He thinks it’s just his protective side,

after everything he and Haley have been

through together.”

Lauren notices that Michael has been

on edge lately, but when she asks her

husband what’s bothering him, he insists

everything is fine. “Lauren and Michael

are extremely open with each other, so

his off behavior is a sign that he’s keep-

ing something from her,” explains Tracey

E. Bregman (Lauren). “When Michael

accuses Lauren of not being supportive,

she realizes it’s just a smokescreen.”

Lauren deduces that Michael’s stressed-

out behavior has to do with Kevin, so she

demands answers from her brother-in-law.

Despite Kevin playing dumb, Bregman

notes, “Lauren quickly connects the dots

that Kevin has once again roped Michael

into a serious and most likely dangerous

situation. Lauren knows from experience

that Michael’s dark side can be easily trig-

gered by the need to help Kevin.”

Lauren vows to get to the bottom of

what’s really going on. “Lauren will go to

far lengths to save her family,” Bregman

reminds. “Fans should be prepared for one

great ride!”
