Africa’s Bowhunter – August 2019

The morning wind was blowing from various directions.
Luckily I did the full three-phase process of my trusty No Scent
productions, washed my entire bowhunting gear in No Scent
Laundry Pods, showered with the No Scent Hair & Body Wash
before leaving home that morning and lastly I sprayed myself
down with the No Scent Field Spray after I got settled into my
hide for the day to conceal my scent. I had not been long in my
hide before the bushveld started coming to live, as a whole f lock
of guinea fowl came rushing in. It wasn’t long after two in the
afternoon when a group of warthogs came in and began to drink
water.

soar with only a single tusk as I was looking only for good meat

milled around for a while and I reconsidered as I looked at the
length of the single tusk and body size.
I slowly leaned to the camera window to turn on the camera
for me to get it all on film. I turned to get my bow from the hook.
I put the release in place and turned to the window... not a warthog
in sight! Back on the hook for the bow.
10 minutes later a huge boar appeared out of the brush and
