Mio has just updated its flagship dash cam range with a new 7 Series.
The MiVue 798 offers sharper, high-resolution footage if the worst was
to happen and indisputable proof of fault was required after an incident
on the road. The camera provides 2.5K QHD 1600p footage with
150-degree wide-angle viewing and F1.8 aperture, meaning details like
registration plates and tail lights can be captured regardless of whether
it’s day or night. Fitted with Sony’s high-quality STARVIS CMOS, the

model to market, which it bills as being the most feature-rich device in its
line-up. It’s designed to record a crystal-clear view of the road and is
packing ‘Quad High Definition’ (QHD) 1440p forward-facing camera, a
140-degree wide-angle recording view, and cloud connectivity including
live view, geo-fencing, pinpoint vehicle location, driving impact notification
and video upload. It also offers Super Night Vision 2.0 for better footage
