O

ne’s a member of the royal
family while the other is
pop royalty, so it was
no surprise to see the
Duchess of Sussex and Beyoncé
getting on like a house on fire at
the European premiere of The
Lion King in London last week.
The pair were pictured hugging
and smiling as they met for the
first time, and new! can
now reveal they’ve
already made plans to
spend more time together.
“Beyoncé’s been
someone Meghan’s
always wanted to meet
and had planned to reach
out to, so when she knew
she’d be meeting her at
the premiere she was on
a mission to ensure that
it wasn’t just a one-off,”
our insider revealed.
“Following the photocall
and presentation inside the

cinema, the pair were locked in
deep conversation, chatting about
parenting, Los Angeles and family
life in the spotlight, with Meghan
admitting what a culture shock the
last couple of years have been.”
Bey, 37, is even said to have
invited Meghan and Harry, 34,
to her birthday bash and has
also asked them to stay with

her and hubby Jay-Z in America.
“Meghan told Beyoncé how she
and Harry wanted to spend more
time in LA and ensure [their son]
Archie grows up knowing where
his mother’s from, which prompted
Beyoncé to invite her and Harry
to her birthday celebrations in
September, which Meghan said
they’d try to coincide with a trip to
visit her mother, Doria,”
our mole said.
“Beyoncé was
incredibly forthcoming,
praising Meghan for
taking on such a tough
role and for giving up so
much. She even offered
up their mansion and
invited them to stay,
which Meghan was
incredibly touched by.”
It seems their new
friendship has been
written in the stars for
a while, as they’ve both

publicly praised each other in
the past. Meghan, 37, previously
gushed about the singer on her
own, now closed, Instagram
account, writing alongside a snap
of herself, “The closest I will ever
come to channeling @Beyonce,”
while Bey paid tribute to Meghan
during the Brit Awards in February.
And as their friendship begins,
our source says Meghan is also
hoping two-month-old Archie will
strike up a bond with Bey’s kids,
Blue Ivy, seven, and two-year-old
twins Sir and Rumi.
“The pair swapped numbers
and Meghan’s been gushing
about how she hopes they can
build a friendship with Bey and
Jay like they have with Amal and
George [Clooney] and how great
it will be for the kids to become
friends, too,” our insider added.
We’re Crazy In Love about
this friendship!
