comes to these kits, Meng-

Model really bring my inner

child out when it comes to

the World at War Toon Tanks! I challenge

anyone out there to build one then tell me

they did not thoroughly enjoy it. I always

have one or two of these kits in my stash so

when the dreaded lack of ‘modelling mojo’

strikes these are the perfect escape from

some of the more complex builds that most

of us get immersed in nowadays. This time

around I found myself reaching for the T-

kit, and after opening the box and removing

all of sprues from the bag I began to snip

the parts ready for the snap itting method

Meng-Model use, and this can only be

described as one of the quickest builds you

will ever ind! The it of the parts is perfect,

and before too long you have something

resembling the miniature T-34.

The next stage was to apply some

black primer, then I added what I like to

call a ‘shadow coat’ which, is basically an

application of some Tamiya XF-2 Flat White
