thegolfballandenablesmetogetthe
pressureintothatlegcorrectly.Alotof
you,I’msure,havebeentoldtokeep
yourlegsstable,thattheyneeda
stablebasetoturnagainst,butthis
doesn’tlookstable,doesit?
You’reright,yourleadsidedoesn’t
lookstabledoingthisdrill,butcrucially,
thetrailsideis.Withgolferstryingto
movetoomuchoffthegolfballthey
starttosway,butI’mnotswaying.The
wholeofmyrightsideisstable,butthe
othersideisbeingallowedtomovein
tohelpmepushthe pressure into a
stable trail leg.

thatyour
backswingwill
becomelonger.

distancetwo-fold.

thisdrillisthatyouactuallyturnbehind
thegolfball,whichreallyhelpsyou
optimisethelaunchandspinbecause
you’re now behind the ball at the top.
Whendoingthedrill,getintothehabit
ofswingingtothetopandstopping,
noticingiftheheelisofftheground
andifyourpressureismostlyonyour
traillegwithoutanylateralsway.Ifyou
