concrete layer is the active layer
(not the mask) by clicking on its
layer thumbnail in the Layers panel.
Go to Filter>Noise>Add Noise,
set the Amount to 39% and Dis-
tribution to Uniform, and turn on
Monochromatic. Click OK. Go
to Filter>Blur>Motion Blur, set
the Angle to –21° and Distance
to 18 pixels, and click OK. Go to
Image>Adjustments>Levels and
move the left handle to the right
until it touches the edge of the
downward slope of the histogram.
Click OK. This will create deep con-
trast in the concrete stock.
