A CIÊNCIA COM ROSTO DE MULHER

Apesar de os números de mulheres com bolsas de iniciação

científica e também as com mestrado e com doutorado serem

superiores aos dos homens, as mulheres representam apenas 33%

do total de bolsistas de Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq. Nas

áreas de Ciências Exatas, Engenharias e Computação a desigualdade

é maior. Os homens assinam 75% dos artigos nas áreas de

Computação e de Matemática.

Although the numbers of women with scientific initiation

scholarships - and also those with master’s and doctoral

degrees - are higher than those of men, women represent

only 33% of the total number of the Brazilian Conselho

recipients. In the Exact Sciences, Engineering and

Computing, the inequality is greater. Men sign 75% of the

articles in Computer Science and Mathematics.

Obwohl die Zahl der Frauen, die ein wissenschaftliches

Anfangsstipendium erhalten, sowie die Zahl der

Master- und Promotionsstipendiaten höher ist als die

der Männer, stellen Frauen nur 33 % aller Stipendiaten

für Forschungsproduktivität des brasilianischen

Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico

e Tecnológico („Nationaler Rat für wissenschaftliche

Entwicklung“, CNPq). In den exakten Wissenschaften,

den Ingenieurwissenschaften und der Informatik ist die

Ungleichheit noch größer. Männer unterzeichnen 75 %

der Artikel in den Bereichen Informatik und Mathematik.
