Change speed
In the menu bar, click Controls
> Playback Speed. You can choose from
Half Speed, Normal Speed, One and
a Quarter Speed, One and a Half Speed
and Double Speed. This can be changed
again at any point during a show.Create a Station
In Apple Podcasts, a Station
is essentially a playlist, letting you
group subscribed podcasts along
a common theme. To create one, click
File > New Station or press Cmd+N. Give
your station a name, then click Save.Skip forward or back
To skip ahead 30 seconds, press
Shift+Cmd+Right Arrow; to go back 15
seconds, it’s Shift+Cmd+Left Arrow. Or
click Controls > Skip 30 sec or Controls
> Rewind 15 sec. Skip episodes with
Cmd+Right Arrow or Cmd+Left Arrow.Adjust its settings
In the Station settings window
you can choose how podcasts should
be ordered, how many episodes
should be included, and more. Add
a podcast by clicking Choose Podcasts.
When you’re finished, click Done.Adjust the volume
You could increase the volume
using the volume controls on your
keyboard, but this will affect your entire
Mac. To just increase the volume within
the Podcasts app, press Cmd+Up Arrow
To turn it down, press Cmd+Down Arrow.Reorder episodes
Your Station will now be
populated with episodes from your
shows. To reorder episodes, click and
drag one, then move it up or down the
list. Click Play on an episode and the
app will work through the Station.
PLAY THROUGH EXTERNAL SPEAKERS
Get a better audio experience with Podcasts
Podcasts can be configured to play through external speakers or headphones,
including those equipped with AirPlay and wireless headphones like AirPods.
To use non–AirPlay speakers, you just need to connect them to your Mac. Podcasts
will automatically play through them and mute your computer’s speakers. To use
AirPlay, click the AirPlay icon at the top of the Podcasts app, then check the box
next to the speakers you want to use. If you have more than one set of AirPlay
