106 DIGITAL CAMERA^ APRIL 2020 http://www.digitalcameraworld.com

egarding the article on Josef Koudelka
in our March 2020 issue, that coinicided
with the release of the new cut of the
documentary film Koudelka: Shooting Holy Land.
Following discussion with the film’s production
company we would like to clarify that the article
was not an interview initiated or conducted by
Digital Camera, as the the magazine’s cover and
article headers suggested. It was made possible
thanks to access that our writer was given by the
film’s marketing agency to the new cut’s bonus
content, which was transcribed and edited by our
writer in a way that may have misrepresented the

spoken questions and answers
as they appeared in the original video material.
Unfortunately the use of this content’s transcripts,
as published in the article, was not coordinated
with nor agreed on with the film’s production
company. We regret any inconvenience and
distress which might have resulted from this
misunderstanding. Any readers wishing to watch
the original video footage can find it in the bonus
content featured on the new cut of Koudelka:
Shooting Holy Land. This is available on DVD
and Blu-ray, and can be streamed via Vimeo.
