BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

AVEIRO, PORTUGAL

JULY 23-30, 2023

Over 400 participants representing 20 Universities from

12 countries took part in the 2023 European Universities

Basketball Championship, which took place in Aveiro, Portugal.

The Championship was

organised by the Portuguese

University Sports Federation

(FADU) and University of

Aveiro, with the contribution

of University Aveiro Students

Union.

At the event, EUSA was

represented by Executive

Committee member Zoltan

Rakaczki, EUSA SCAC CHAIR

Manuel Veloso, EUSA Technical

Delegate Peter George,

Assistant Technical Delegate

Pascale Weiwers, and EUSA

Representative Salvatore Sisca.

At the end of the six days of

highly competitive and intense

games, in the men’s competition

it was University of Bologna

(ITA) who defended their title
