TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP


OLOMOUC, CZECH REPUBLIC


JULY 4-9, 2023


Over 130 participants, representing 24 universities from


13 countries, took part in the 2023 European Universities


Table Tennis Championship held in Olomouc, Czech Republic.


The event was organised by
the Czech University Sports
Association and Table Tennis
Club Olomouc, with 18 men’s
teams and 11 women’s teams
taking part.

EUSA was represented by EUSA
SCAC Chair Agita Abele, Andrzej
Hrehorowicz EUSA Technical
Commission Vice Chair, EUSA
Technical Delegate for Table

Tennis Matija Krnc, Assistant
Technical Delegate Irena Purkat,
and Eszter Gulyas, EUSA Sports
Officer.

In the men‘s team finals,
Zamojski Academy from
Poland won the title after a
dramatic final match against
the University of Pecs from
Hungary. The bronze prize went

to the University of Zagreb and
the University of Porto.

The women‘s team finals
were just as thrilling, with the
University of Nottingham from
the United Kingdom taking the
championship after thriumphing
over the University of Zagreb
from Croatia. The bronze
medal was shared between
the University of Ostrava and
