The Cereal City Pickleball Club
held another highly successful
Women’s Fun Day Play Event at
Kellogg Community College on
Sunday Aug. 4, according to CCPC
president and founder Donnie Speck.
There were 36 participants from
many different areas who played in
this two-division, round-robin event.
A big shout out, Speck said, to
event coordinator and club member
Marie Ames for spearheading the
Women’s Fun Day Play gathering.
And a big “thank you” for all those
who donated and assisted Ames.
Added Speck: “There was an elec-
tric atmosphere with lots of specta-
tors. These ladies know how to play
pickleball very well. Thank you for
all who assisted and played in this
popular club event.”

the tourney by division:
- Division 1 (level 3.5-4.0): 1-Tami

cations to allow a Non-Profit Congregate and Living Facility on approximately 290 acres located at 22072 Pine Lake Road. The
applicant proposes to operate a retreat-style professional counseling ministry serving Christian pastors, missionaries and the like. - A public hearing to amend the Pennfield Charter Township Zoning Ordinance to add definitions to define terms related to battery
