Memory Care
at the age
of 91. Al was
born June
7, 1933, the
son of Albert
P. Binger and Genevive George
Binger, in Jackson, Michigan.
He was a proud veteran of the
U.S. Navy, serving during the
Korean War. Al married Carol R.
Corey on April 8, 1956. They had 67
wonderful years together. Carol pre-
ceded Al in death July 5, 2023.

Corporation for 33 years. Al was
General Manager/V.P. of Alro’s first
branch operation in Battle Creek.
He also oversaw operations in
Benton Harbor and Grand Rapids,
Michigan, along with branches in Ft.
Wayne and Indianapolis, Indiana.
He retired as Executive Vice-
President. In 1988, he co-founded
Binger Shipping Supplies with his
son Tim. He was very proud of the
opportunity to work with all of his
children.
Al and Carol traveled the world

On Saturday,
August 17,
2024, William
Samuel
Jones, a dot-
ing father,
passed away
at the age of
24.
William was
preceded in
death by his grandfathers, Joseph
Jones and JR Williams; grandmoth-
er Linda Grubaugh; and uncle Mike
McAlpine.
He is survived by his mother and
stepfather, Beverly and Mitchell
Dadow; father and stepmother,
Joseph and Michele Jones; siblings,
Katie, Jorden, and Joseph Jones,
Johnathan Hall, Tarrell Grant,
Casey and Caitlin Bannister; many
aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and
nephews. Most importantly, he is
survived by his beautiful baby girl,
Octavia.
William was a bright and adven-
turous soul. There wasn’t a person
he met that wasn’t affected by his
special personality. He will be dearly
missed by so many people, more
than he could have ever imagined.
This world is so much less without
him in it. Next to his family and
friends, there was not much that
William loved as much as he loved
riding, and if he wasn’t doing that,
he was probably on the water fish-
ing or kayaking.
Family and friends were asked to
join together for a celebration of his
wonderful life on Saturday, August
24, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. at the Polish
National Alliance, 15 Clair St., Battle
