In the 2nd month (Mar./Apr.) of 918, Tang-hsiang envoys to the
Khitan court offered gifts (Liao shih 1:10a-10b).
On Apr.17, 924, envoys from a Tang-hsiang chief to the Later
T’ang court offered fine horses (Hsin Wu-tai shih 5:7a; Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei
p.5034).
In the 11th month (Nov./Dec.) of 924, Tang-hsiang presented a
white ass to the Later T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5034).
In the 12th month (Dec./Jan., 925) of the Chinese year 924, Tang-
hsiang offered fine horses to the Later T’ang court. The wife of the
chief presented racehorses (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5034).
In the 2nd month (Feb./Mar.) of 925, Tang-hsiang offered regional
objects to the Later T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5034).
On Oct.20, 927, Tang-hsiang and others offered 40 horses to the
Later T’ang court (Hsin Wu-tai shih 6:6a; Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5034; Wen-
hsien t’ung-k’ao 334:27b).
In the 11th month (Dec./Jan., 929) of the Chinese year 928,
Tang-hsiang offered gifts to the Later T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei
p.5034).
In the 8th month (Sep./Oct.) of 929, Tang-hsiang offered regional
objects to the Later T’ang court. In the 9th month (Oct./Nov.), they
presented horses. In the 10th month (Nov./Dec.), a Tang-hsiang chief
offered horses (Chiu Wu-tai shih 40:7a; Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5034).
In the 1st month (Jan./Feb.) of 930, a Tang-hsiang chief offered
gifts to the Later T’ang court. He was appointed a Manager of Lances.
In the 12th month (Dec./Jan., 931) of the same Chinese year 930,
Emperor Ming-tsung of Later T’ang appointed one Tang-hsiang chief
as Acting Master of Writing and Supervisor of the Right, and another
as Acting Master of Writing in the Ministry of Works (Wu-tai hui-yao
29:11a-11b;Wen-hsien t’ung-k’ao 334:27b).
On Jan. 30, 931, Tang-hsiang in the Kan-su Corridor offered
racehorses to the Later T’ang court (Hsin Wu-tai shih 6:9b; Ts’e-fu
yüan-kuei p.5035).
In the 11th month (Dec./Jan., 932) of the Chinese year 931,
Tang-hsiang offered gifts to the Later T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei
p.5035).
In the 12th month (Jan./Feb., 932) of the Chinese year 931, a
Tang-hsiang chief presented banners and horses he had taken from
the Khitan to the Later T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5035).
In the 4th month (Apr./May) of 933, Tang-hsiang offered gifts to
the Khitan court (Liao shih 70:3b).
