On Sep.25, 1183, Shih-tsung appointed an Auxiliary General of
the Guards as envoy to congratulate the Hsia ruler on his birthday
(Chin shih 8:6a).
On Feb.14, 1184, the New Year’s Day, Hsia envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. (Chin shih 8:7a).
In the 2nd month (Mar./Apr.) of 1184, Shih-tsung appointed the
Commissioner of the Service of Imperial Utensils as envoy to take
gifts to Hsia (Chin shih 8:7b).
On Apr.13, 1184, Hsia envoys to the Chin court congratulated on
the birthday of Shih-tsung (Chin shih 8:7b).
In the 5th month (June/july) of 1184, Shih-tsung appointed an
Attending Secretary as envoy to congratulate the Hsia ruler on his
birthday (Chin shih 8:9a).
On Dec.13, 1184, Shih-tsung ordered that as long as he resided in
the Supreme Capital, Hsia and Koryo did not have to send envoys to
the birthday celebration because the distance was great and the cold
severe (Chin shih 8:9a).
On Dec.20, 1185, Hsia envoys to the Chin court inquired about
the well-being of Shih-tsung (Chin shih 8:11a).
On Jan.23, 1186, the New Year’s Day, Hsia envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. On Mar.23, they congratulated on the birthday of
Shih-tsung (Chin shih 8:12a).
On Sep.29, 1186, Shih-tsung appointed an Auxiliary General of
the Guards as envoy to congratulate the Hsia ruler on his birthday
(Chin shih 8:15a).
On Feb.10, 1187, the New Year’s Day, Hsia envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. On Apr.11, they congratulated on the birthday of
Shih-tsung (Chin shih 8:17b, 18b).
In the 8th month (Sep./Oct.) of 1187, Shih-tsung appointed the
Prefect of the Office of Armaments as envoy to congratulate the Hsia
ruler on his birthday (Chin shih 8:19b).
On Jan.30, 1188, the New Year’s Day, Hsia envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. On Mar.30, they congratulated on the birthday of
Shih-tsung (Chin shih 8:20b, 21a).
On Sep.23, 1188, Shih-tsung appointed the Commissioner of the
Imperial Falcon Cage as envoy to congratulate the Hsia ruler on his
birthday (Chin shih 8:22a).
On the New Year’s Day of Jan.19, 1189, Shih-tsung was ill with
a great sweat and could not hold court. The Hsia envoys who had
come to congratulate were sent home. On Jan.20, Shih-tsung died,
