Later Chou, and Southern T’ang condoled at the Liao court (Liao
shih 6:1a).
In the 12th month (January 952) of the Chinese year 951, North-
ern Han envoys to the Liao court presented bows, arrows, and horse
trappings (Liao shih 6:1a).
On Jan.30, 952, Southern T’ang envoys to the Liao court presented
a letter in a ball of wax and offered 10,000 sets of rhinoceros hide
armour (Liao shih 6:1b).
On Apr.4, 952, Southern T’ang envoys to the Liao court presented
a letter in a ball of wax (Liao shih 6:1b).
On Apr.8 and June 23, 952, Southern T’ang envoys to the Liao
court offered gifts (Liao shih 6:1b).
On July 2, 952, Northern Han envoys to the Liao court announced
that their state was invaded by the Later Chou. Emperor Mu-tsung
sent the Minister of the Right of the Department of State Affairs to
lead troops in support of Northern Han (Liao shih 6:1b).
On Oct.22, 952, Northern Han envoys to the Liao court offered
grape wine (Liao shih 6:2a).
On Jan.18, 953,^46 Northern Han envoys to the Liao court thanked
for the aid in repelling the Later Chou army (Liao shih 6:2a).
On Apr.16, 953, Southern T’ang envoys to the Liao court offered
gifts (Liao shih 6:2b).
On May 3, 953, Northern Han envoys to the Liao court offered
garments and polo horses (Liao shih 6:2b).
On July 7, 953, Northern Han envoys to the Liao court announced
that a stone stele which had been set up by Later Chin in com-
memoration of the Liao Emperor T’ai-tsung had been destroyed by
the Later Chou. They proposed to carve a new one. Liao agreed to
it (Liao shih 6:2b).
On Sep.22, 953, Northern Han envoys to the Liao court thanked
for military support (Liao shih 6:2b).
On Nov.2, 953, Northern Han envoys to the Liao court offered
drugs (Liao shih 6:2b).
On Mar.18, 954, Northern Han envoys to the Liao court offered
tea and drugs (Liao shih 6:3a).
On Aug.14, 954, Northern Han envoys to the Liao court requested
the return of people who had been seized by the Liao army (Liao shih
6:3a).
