2024 was not only a special year for EUSA, but
also for FISU, since the International UniversitySports Federation celebrated its 75
th
anniversary!
And celebration rhymed with transition as SecretaryGeneral and CEO Eric Saintrond stepped down after
dedicating almost 40 years of his life to developing
FISU. His successor is a former student-athlete fromSwitzerland, Matthias Remund.
