• FISU America e-Sports: from
  September 21 to 28, e-sports
  took center stage with games
  like FIFA and Clash Royale.
  The champions were Daniel de
  Mattia (Argentina) in FIFA and
  Wallace Araújo (Brazil) in Clash
  Royale.


• FISU America Games Cali
  2024: from November 5 to
  14, the largest university
  tournament on the continent
  brought together 17 nations
  in a framework of respect
  and competition. This event
  stood out not only for its
  organization but also for
  the exceptional level of its
  participants—student-athletes
  who demonstrated that
  excelling in academics and
  sports is not only possible
  but inspiring. Brazil topped
  the medal table with 110
  medals (65 gold), followed by
  Colombia and Mexico. It was
  a true celebration of university
  sports.

Spaces for exchange

and dialogue

2024 was also marked by
opportunities for discussion and

collaboration on the potential of

university sports:

• V FISU America Forum in
  Cusco: more than 55 Peruvian
  universities, 90 students, and
  60 university sports leaders
  attended this event, promoting
  dialogue on the future of
  university sports in the region.

American NUSF hosted

three FISU World

Championships

• FISU World University
  Championship Finswimming:
  held in Pereira (Colombia) in
  April 2024, where athletes
  swam and glided at lightning
  speed.


• FISU World University
  Championship Cycling: San
  Carlos (Costa Rica) hosted this
  demanding competition in May
  and June.

    Championship Beach Sports:
    held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil)
    in September, where student-
    athletes showcased their
    excellence and strength on the

Looking ahead to 2025

The year 2025 promises to

continue strengthening university

sports with events such as:

• FISU America e-Sports: FIFA
  and Clash Royale remain pillars
  of the calendar.


• FISU America Futsal: a highly
  anticipated tournament


• FISU America 3x3: Brasília will
  be the epicenter of university
  basketball.


• FISU America combats sports
  that will be held in Lima, Peru.
  
  
  • FISU America Tennis: Chile
    will welcome the continent’s
    best student-athletes for this
    discipline.
  
  
  • FISU AMERICA Strategic
    Dialogue, that will meet
    leaders of all the continent for
    University sports.
