Vytautas Magnus University
(LTU) earned the bronze medal.
The thrilling final match between
the University of Ljubljana (SLO)
and the Polytechnic University of
Bucharest (ROU), saw Romanians
achieving the gold medal with a
score of 19:18 and a spot for the
2024 FISU University World Cup
3x3 Basketball in China.
Alongside spectacular finals,
several important extra awards
were presented to recognize
outstanding performances and
sportsmanship. The Fair Play
Awards went to Vasyl Stefanyk
Precarpathian National University
(UKR) (women) and University of
Alicante (ESP) (men).
Individual honours in the
women’s category included
3x3 BASKETBALL
JULY 12-15, DEBRECEN
232 participants, forming 44 teams of female and male students, representing
36 universities, from 16 countries, gathered in Debrecen, to attend the 3x3
Basketball competition. 3x3 Basketball was one of the most attended and popular
sports events for the general public, during the European Universities Games in
Debrecen and Miskolc.
