In the women’s competition, there
were 11 enthusiastic teams, all
playing with great spirit and the
same wish to win and earn the
medals around their necks.
In the men’s competition, 12
teams were showcasing great
sportsmanship and strong will
to be among the top in the final
rankings.
In a thrilling final, the Stefan
cel Mare University of Suceava
(ROU) edged out the University
of Duisburg-Essen (GER) 32-29
to claim the gold medal. The
bronze medal match was even
closer, with the University of
Zurich (SUI) narrowly defeating
the University of Leon (ESP)
25-24.
The Fair Play Award went to
AGH University of Science
and Technology from Krakow
(POL), Marton Szabados won
the Best Scorer Award with 53
points scored (Karoli Gaspar
University of Reformed Church),
and Botond Balasz (Stefan cel
383 athletes, making up 23 teams, brought incredible energy
and passion to the court as they competed for the top spot.
These talented players came from 20 universities in 11
different countries, and every single one of them gave it their
all, striving for success and some amazing results.
