- Adjust the appearance of the shield. Photoshop
indicates the area that will be cropped away by cov-
ering it with a translucent shield. Black by default,
the shield doesn’t give us much of an idea of how
the image will look when set against a white page
or a Web site. In the options bar, click the Color
swatch to display the Color Picker dialog box. Set
the Color to white by setting the R, G, and B val-
ues each to 255, and then click OK. I also like to
lower the Opacity value to 50 percent, as circled in
Figure 2-18. - Rotate the crop boundary. To rotate the rectan-
gular crop boundary, move your cursor outside the
boundary and drag. Rotate the boundary so it ap-
pears straight up-and-down (see Figure 2-19), thus
matching the angle of the view.
