GETTING AROUND

The southern parts of the country, including

Luxembourg City, are well served by motor-

ways, with links to Brussels, central Germany

and eastern France. Destinations in the north

can be accessed rapidly by a mixture of motor-

ways and secondary roads. The railways follow

a similar pattern, with better coverage in the

south. One line, with just two branches, serves

the north, running between Luxembourg City

and Troisvierges (and on to Liège). Bus services

complement the railways, filling in the gaps to

places not accessible by the train network.
