mailer, and it’s very effective.
4.Personalize your newsletters.If your printer cre-
ates your letters with a laser printer, add a per-
sonal touch to your monthly letters. At the
bottom of your letter include a picture of your sig-
nature. How is this done, you ask? Well, you can
scan your signature into your computer, and paste
it as a picture on your newsletters. That way if
you print your farm mailers with a laser printer, it
will look like you signed each newsletter by hand.
I know this is not as personal as you would wish,
but couldn’t your time be put to better use than
signing 500 to 1,000 letters? I thought so.
5.Create your farm mailing labels.By the way, if
you are wondering how to acquire your mailing
address labels, ask your broker. Your office
should have a program that creates the labels for
you; all you do is type in the address coordinates
and the street names for which you would like la-
bels. The labels are then printed out on address
stickers. This program can also be purchased by
agents for personal use.
