sonalized coffee mugs, pens, Post-it Notes with
your name and info on it, etc. Some of these can
be rather expensive, so make sure you have the
room for it in your budget.

6.Advertise on billboards and benches. These are
great for name reinforcement over the long run.
Billboards are quite expensive, so a more afford-
able alternative would be bus stop benches. Ad-
vertising on a bus stop bench gets you a ton of
publicity. It’s also ideal if you can get a bus stop
bench in your farm area. You’ll need at least a
year’s lease on this type of advertising to make it
work for you.


7.Give them a picture of their home.When you sell
a home, keep a record of the MLS picture on file.
Then, let’s say, within six months to a year later,
mail your past clients the picture of what their
home looked like when they first bought it. Put
the picture in a frame with your name and info
printed on it (tastefully), and give this to them as
a keepsake gift. How nice would that be? They’ll
definitely be touched by this and remember you.


8.Call clients on holidays.Whether it’s your current
clients or past clients, one way to keep them close
is to call them and wish them a happy holiday. To
many, the holidays are emotional times for family
