SPOT HEAL FOR
SMALL ISSUES
In the Layers Panel
(Window > Layers), click
the Create New Layer
icon. Grab the Spot
Healing Brush and set it
to Sample: All Layers in
the options at the top,
then paint over the wires
in the photo to remove
them. You can Shift-click
between two points to
heal in a straight line.

MASTER THE
CLONE TOOL
Grab the Clone Tool from
the Toolbar and set it to
Sample: All Layers in the
tool options, then hold Alt
to sample the brickwork
next to the area you want
to remove here. Line up
the tool using the overlay
as a guide, then clone over
the unwanted areas. Alt-
click again to sample more
source points.

PATCH UP THE
PROBLEM AREAS
The Patch Tool can be
useful for fixing larger
problem areas. Grab the
tool and set it to Sample:
All Layers then drag a
rough selection over the
area. Drag the selection
to a similar clean area
nearby to sample from.
Sometimes after doing
this, you’ll need to tidy
up with the Clone Tool.
