Flying Geese

Raid your stash for scraps to make a striking
cushion for your home! By Rebecca Reid
T
his cushion uses the popular
Flying Geese block to dramatic
effect in just three colours. Pop
it on a sofa to transform the whole look
of the room with minimal effort! This
cushion is made from 18 Flying Geese
blocks, with each block measuring
2x4in (5x10cm). For each block you
need to cut one large rectangle from
the print fabric and two small squares
from the background fabric.
CUTTING THE FABRIC
Print fabric A: cut six rectangles each
measuring 2½x4½in (6x11cm)
Print fabric B: cut six rectangles each
measuring 2½x4½in (6x11cm)
Print fabric C: cut six rectangles each
measuring 2½x4½in (6x11cm)
Background fabric: Cut 36 squares,
