ELEVATING THE EXPERIENCE YOU LOVE


As developers deep dive into the new operating
system, new features and enhancements are
being discovered every day, including HomeKit,
which has introduced Suggested Automations
and a new Control Center widget which
dynamically suggests accessories and scenes
that you might want to activate based on your
current location and usage habits.


Safari has been overhauled, too, offering twice-
as-fast JavaScript performance than Chrome
on Android, and the new Siri Translate feature
is baked into the browser, translating sites in
English, Spanish, Chinese, French, German,
Russian, or Brazilian Portuguese. Apple has also
added a new password monitoring feature, and
a Website Privacy Report offers users a detailed
look at what data each website is collecting,
putting privacy at the forefront again.


Health has been handed new features, with
a Sleep Tracking tab to correspond with the
release of watchOS 7. Some of the new features
work without an Apple Watch, whilst new
health records can be added such as mobility,
symptoms, and ECG, and a Health Checklist
allows users to check for Fall Detection, Noise
Notifications, Emergency SOS, and more.


Car Key was another exciting new feature
announced at this year’s WWDC, allowing users
to unlock their cars using their Apple Watch
or an iPhone. These keys can be stored inside
of the Wallet app, and shared with friends and
family via iMessage, and limits can be applied
for acceleration, top speed, stereo volume, and
