Cabinfever
Here is Eloise, aged two. She requested her ‘bike
hat’ and proceeded to climb into my washing basket
to enjoy a sit down. I think isolation is getting to her!

Isolationsuperstars
BabyLochlannwasborn13 days
late, exactly one week before the
lockdown. I also have a three-
year-old, Imogen, and a five-
year-old, Innis. My first thoughts
were, how am I going to do this?
Attempt to home-school Innis,
establish breastfeeding, cook,
clean and play, all with sleepless
nights and a diva three-year-old.
But Innis and Imogen have been
superstars, understandingthat
Mummy has been tired and
can’t always play or get them
a snack straightaway. Innisis
loving the extra time he’s getting
to spend with his baby brother,
enjoying long cuddles together.
Imogen has adored havingher
big brother around to playwith,
as she misses him whenhe’s
at school. And it’s beenlovely
not having to run aroundin the
morning shouting for themto
get ready for school, orrushout
anywhere. We’ve been ableto
st ay in the newborn bubble!
