Makes 2 adult and 1 baby portion
Ingredients
● 1 x 200g tin of chickpeas, drained
and rinsed
● (^1) spring onion, finely chopped
● (^) 3 tbsp soft herbs (parsley, chives,
tarragon, basil or coriander)
● 2 tbsp lemon juice
● 1 clove garlic
● 2 tbsp natural yoghurt
● 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
To serve:
● veg sticks (roughly 6-7cm)
● pitta bread fingers
(^1) Add all the ingredients, except the oil, to
a food processor, and process until smooth,
adding in a splash
mixture if needed. of water to loosen the
(^2) Spoon into a bowl and drizzle over the
olive oil. Serve with veg sticks and toasted
pitta fingers. The houmous keeps for up to
two days covered in the fridge.
