Crossed Clusters Granny Square
This classic afghan granny square makes a great impact with the
simple clusters in the corners.
Ch 6, sl st to 1st ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 2, 2 dc-cl in ring, ch 4, 3 dc-cl in ring, ch 2, 3
dc-cl; rep from 3 times total, ch 4, 3 dc-cl in ring, ch 2, sl st to
2 dc-cl, do not turn—8 dc-cl.
Rnd 2: Ch 5 (counts as dc, ch-2 sp), [3 dc-cl, ch 2, 3 dc-cl] in
ch-4 sp, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch-2 sp, ch 2; rep from 3 times total,
[3 dc-cl, ch 2, 3 dc-cl] in ch-4 sp, ch 2, 2 dc in last ch-2 sp, sl st to
3rd ch of t-ch, do not turn—12 dc.
Rnd 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, ch 2, [3 dc-cl, ch
2, 3 dc-cl] in next ch-2 sp, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, dc in next 3
