Sorbet Shell Edging.

This delicate edging looks much more complex and adds a dramatic
ending to any project.

Picot: Ch 3, sl st in 1st ch.

The stitch pattern is a multiple of 3 on the sides. Join the yarn to
the edge with a sl st, and ch 1.

Rnd 1 (RS): *Sc across edge in a multiple of 3, 3 sc in corner; rep
from * around, sl st to 1st sc, turn.

Rnd 2: Sl st in next sc, ch 1, *[sc, ch
5, sc] in corner sc, **ch 5, sk 3 sc, sc
in next sc; rep from ** across to cor-
ner, ch 5, sk 3 sc; rep from * around
ch 2, dc in 1st sc, turn.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in dc, *[ch 5, sc in
next ch-5 sp] twice, 7 dc in next ch-5
sp, sc in next ch-5 sp; rep from *
across to last 3 ch-5 sps before corner,
[sc in next ch-5 sp, ch 5] twice, sc in

The layered edging adds a sweet-as-can-be touch to afghans or
skirts.

The stitch pattern is a multiple of 4 plus 2 on the sides. Join the
yarn to the edge with a sl st, and ch 1.

Large Outside Edging
Rnd 1 (RS): *Sc across edge in a multiple of 4 plus 2, 3 sc in
corner; rep from * around, sl st to 1st sc, do not turn.
