Pine Tree Stitch
Post stitches combined with crocheting into previous stitches
create a forest of trees in this stitch pattern.
Pine Tree Stitch (tree): [Ch 1, ttr, ch 1, dtr in 4th horiz bar of
prev ttr, ch 1, tr in 3rd horiz bar of prev dtr, ch 1, dc in 2nd
horiz bar of prev tr, ch 2, hdc in horiz bar of prev dc, ch 1, dc
in 2nd horiz bar of prev tr, ch 1, tr in 3rd horiz bar of prev dtr,
ch 1, dtr in 4th horiz bar of prev ttr, ch 1] in st indicated.
Back Post Treble Four Together (BPtr4tog): Sk next ch-sp, yo
twice, insert hk around post of next st, from back to front to
back, and pull up a lp, [yo and pull through 2 lps] twice; rep
from 3 more times.
Back Post Treble Eight Together (BPtr8tog): Yo twice, insert
hk around post of next st, from back to front to back, and pull
up a lp, [yo and pull through 2 lps] twice, sk ch-sp; rep from
3 more times, sk next (ch-1, sc, ch-1); rep from * 4 times.
Left Decrease (left dec): Yo twice, insert hk around post of
next st from back to front to back and pull up a lp, [yo and
pull through 2 lps] twice; rep from 3 more times, yo 3
