for iPhone users. Face ID is now expected to
unlock 30 per cent faster, and app downloads
and updates will be 50 and 60 per cent smaller
respectively. The result is that apps will now
launch up to twice as fast as before.
Apple’s director of product design, Meg Frost,
also announced that Apple Maps developers
have been “driving and flying all across the U.S.,
collecting land and aerial data to add to Apple
Maps”, which has been expanded and packed
full of new features. Finally, iOS 13 users will
also be able to speak to a new and improved
Siri, whose software-generated voice has been
tweaked to sound more human.
