and sizes. In the past, baled
and wrapped silage has been
reserved for hays or crops that could
be baled as long fibres through a
regular baler. Silage like maize or feed
sorghum are chopped and stored
in this way and therefore previously
limited to storage forms like bunkers,
heaps and silo bags. The main benefitof baled and wrapped silage is the
ability to trade in it and transport
it. Poor stability after removal limits
loosened silage’s shelf life as it
heats up.
However, with the Agronic Baler
& Silage processing equipment, any
chopped feed can now be baled and
wrapped for ensiling. Harvest time
principles as far as dry matter and
level of processing remain in place, but
now the silage is baled directly after it’s
cut and wrapped immediately following
