3 x^3 (4xy^5 )^2 = 3 x^3 [4^2 x^2 (y^5 )^2 ] = 3 x^3 (16x^2 y^10 ) = 3 · 16x^3 x^2 y^10 = 48 x^5 y^10

(2x)^3 (3x^3 y)^2 = (2^3 x^3 )(3^2 (x^3 )^2 y^2 ) = (8x^3 )(9x^6 y^2 ) = 8 · 9x^3 x^6 y^2 = 72 x^9 y^2
