1 st EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES RUGBY 7’s CHAMPIONSHIP

The first European Universities Rugby 7’s Championship took
part from September 28 to 29, 2007 in Grenoble, France. 12
University Teams from seven European countries took part in
the championship, which was organised by the French Uni-
versity Sports Federation and the University Sports Federa-
tion of Grenoble. The first European Universities Champion
became the team from the University of Wales Institute Car-
diff who won in the finals against the University of Leeds
Met Carnegie. The third place went to the University Pierre
Mendes France of Grenoble.
