8 th EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES VOLLEYBALL
CHAMPIONSHIP

16 men and 16 women teams participated in the 8th Euro-
pean Universities Volleyball Championship that was organ-
ised from July 21 to 27, 2008 in Camerino, Italy. The event,
organised by CUS Camerino, joined together more than 400
students and officials from 16 European countries. The titles
of Champions went to Moscow after the Russian State Uni-
versity of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism won both
in men and women competition. In men’s final match the
students from Moscow played against their colleagues from
the Russian Aristotle University and won 3:1. In women’s
finals the Russian Team won against the team from the Uni-
versity of Hamburg 3:0.
