he’llswapwhateverheknows(whichisasmuchasyouwant
totellthecharacters)forwhateverthecharactersknow.Once
ArtusandDragonbaitbecomeawareoftheSoulmongerand
thedangeritposes,they’remorethanhappytohelptheparty
destroyit.
AnypartythatincludesArtusandDragonbaitwillhavean
easiertimeovercomingtheadventure’schallenges.However,
Artusisbeinghuntedbytheforcesofevil.Frostgiants,the

Applya+ 5 bonustothecheckifthegroupsetsaslowpacefor
theday,ora– 5 penaltyifthegroupismovingatafastpace.
It’spossibletogetlostonariverbyfollowingatributary
insteadofthemainbranch.
Ifthechecksucceeds,thenavigatorknowsexactlywhere
thepartyisontheplayers’mapofChultthroughouttheday.
Ifthecheckfails,thepartybecomeslost.Eachhexonthe
mapissurroundedbysixotherhexes;wheneveralostparty
moves 1 hex,rollad 6 torandomlydeterminewhich
neighboringhexthepartyenters,anddonotdivulgethe
party’slocationtotheplayers.Whilethepartyislost,players
can’tpinpointthegroup’slocationontheirmapofChult.The
nexttimeanavigatorsucceedsonaWisdom(Survival)check
madetonavigate,revealtheparty’sactuallocationtothe
players.
