This is the only useful contribution on opera of the 19 papers in the volume. It
gives genesis, a list of all the numbers in the opera with their instrumentation,
and a formal analysis. The earlier literature on Sarti is identified with 21 foot-
notes.

There is no collected edition. Modern publications of individual operas are listed in
