  1. In today’s poem you will hear, “Leave [the sheep] alone and they’ll
    come home.”

  2. Say the word alone with me three times.

  3. To be alone means to be by yourself with no one else around. To
    leave something alone means that you do not pay attention to it and
    let it be by itself.

  4. Raymond does not like to be alone in the room.
    Sometimes Tanya likes to be left alone.

  5. Tell your partner about a time you wanted to be left alone or a time
    you did not want to be alone. Use alone when you tell about it.
