“Blah Blah Blah Math Blah Blah Blah 25 Page Essay I gave you a month ago due
tomorrow blah blah....” Wait what. How am I going to do a 25 page Essay by
tomorrow?! Maybe I'll just skip tomorrow and go see Zeus instead. Yep. That's what I'm
doing. And three, two one. RINNNNNNGGGGGGGG. Perfect. I jumped out of my seat,
ran down the hall, ran through the double doors that marked the entrance, slid down the
railing, jumped the school fence and ran the whole way to the zoo. When I got there I
paid my entrance fee and skipped to the Tiger enclosure. When I got near I saw a boy
talking gently to zeus and rubbing his ears. ́He really likes you.’ I said walking up to
him. He jumped up as if he didńt want to be seen with Zeus.
“Please don't tell anyone i-” and then he seemed to notice what i look like. He just
sort of stared at me for a little bit then realized he had not paused the space time
continuum. “Oh, uh hi. I'm Erebus.” He said, still staring at me. “I’m Nyx.” I said, “It's so
sad to see zeus locked up like that isn't it?’ he turned around facing zeus again and said
“Tigers are like every other animal but so much more. They shouldn't be in cages while
the others get to roam. They locked up their love because of us. He deserves to be
free.” I walked up to Zeus's cage and said “I agree. He needs to be in the wild, not
here.” He reached his hands through the metal bars and started rubbing zeus’s ears
once again. “Hey, um I come here everyday after school, and maybe could you meet
me here? I like how you share my concerns with Zeus. I think you and I might be able to
find a way to get him out of here.”
