Experts on the venerable highwheelers were consulted about the
light-green paint used for the block. They suggested black or
aluminum paint for the cylinder jugs. If any paint color residue
exists on an old engine, that section might supply enough surface
to match the color with new paint. Just be cautious about colors
fading from heat and age.
