from FLSmidth kept arriving. The construction team
worked with great speed and zeal to take up the challenge
of the seven-and-half-month target for completing the
building.
During excavation for RABH foundations, part of the
strata under some foundations was found weaker and
varying with respect to recommendations in the soil
investigation report. Being of critical structure, the findings
were flagged by the construction team. A site visit by the
soil consultant M/s Nagadi was immediately arranged
to review the encountered strata and suggest a remedial
solution. The soil consultant visited the site and provided
recommendations with minimum alterations which were
further vetted by design consultant M/s Holtec.
There were regular meetings and reviews by project
head and few even by our Managing Director in continuous
monitoring and support of the project. The DCBL MD
& CEO actively guided the project team in addition to
his regular operational meetings and reviews and always
motivated the team to achieve a higher level of productivity
and progress. In one such initiative, “Project Pride T-Shirts”
were provided to all the partners including vendors,
contractors, and consultants propagating a feeling of
pride in all the contributors of the project at all levels and
organizations.
Our MD & CEO visited the site in October 2018 to
boost the morale of the team and they were inspired to
think out of the box for achieving the ambitious execution
timeline. A key focus area of the visit was to emphasize all
