from March 2019 onwards. All supplies were completed in
June 2019 except the staircase and walkway for roof access.
The central control building is the main office building
and nerve centre of a cement plant. Its layout, amenities,
interiors, and exteriors were given utmost significance and
priority by the Project Pride team. The architectural concept,
its detailing, execution and special features like main
control room, robo-lab, conference rooms, work stations,
laboratories, cafeteria, vertical garden and exteriors were
monitored personally by Project Head to ensure the best
inputs at every step. Inputs were taken from all stakeholders
including process team, IT, HR, and end-users to take care of
their requirements. For exteriors, HPL laminates were used
for the first time in the cement industry to achieve an easily
maintainable and aesthetically appealing look. The efforts
resulted in a unique building for Dalmia Bharat Group. Its
best features shall be standardized for future projects.
The location of the limestone crusher originally planned
had to be modified when project construction was taken
up on representation of the local population. The crusher
and associated conveyor layout were modified and brought
closer to the existing Line 1 crusher and limestone hopper
building.
There were constraints of existing structures, approach
roads, electric lines, water pipelines, and pump house in the
new location as well. After the site visit, discussions with
the mining team and study of available options, the new
layout was finalized and work commenced.
