A man who’s really into you, who cares about you
and wants to be with you, is not going to be satisfied
with just expressing his love for you in words. He’s
going to want to show you how he feels about you
as often as he can. He’ll have the internal need
within himself to show you he loves you with
actions as well as his words.
Understand that love is about giving. Love is not
just taking, taking, taking. No, honestly, love is
giving, giving, giving. If you’re dealing with a man
who is proclaiming to love you, but he doesn’t give
of himself for you, he does not love you. If he
doesn’t pour into you, then he’s lying when he says
he loves you.
If you’re in this situation, it’s important to take a
step back and evaluate whether his words and
actions are lining up. Don’t let his sweet words blind
you and cause you to overlook the clear red flags
that are telling you something’s not right. If he can’t
show his love for you in his actions and learn how
to speak your love language, there’s no point in
continuing forward with him.
