• %Total passengers of population = 0.74 + (2034-2027)×0.01 = 81%


• Total passengers = 0.81 ×3,011,225= 2,439,092passengers


• Air passengers of total passengers = 0.463 *2,439,092 = 1,129,300 passengers.

b- It was assumed that 15% of the total air passengers from Gaza Strip will use Al-

Auja international airport until 2050. The assumed percentage was used because

according to the Road and Transportation Master Plan, a corridor was proposed to

connect Gaza Strip with West Bank. Besides, the rehabilitation and operation of

Yasser Arafat International Airport in Gaza Strip will be underway.
